As a full spectrum birth & abortion doula, I believe in the strength inherent in vulnerability. My work centers around non-judgmental support and empowered choice. I have adopted the definitions of reproductive justice from the SisterSong collective and of radical doulas from Miriam Zoila Perez.

Above all, I take my definition of the fundamental human right to health from the World Health Organization and from the United Nation’s universal declaration of human rights:

Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.

birth doula services

To me, the word doula means one who provides unconditional physical, emotional, and informational support over the course of the birth year: before conception, pregnancy, labor & delivery, and postpartum.

As a birth doula, I aim to help you create a nurturing, supportive, and joyful birth experience.  I offer objective, evidence-based information in order to assist and empower you through the birth process.

My services include:

  • one free initial consultation

  • two to three prenatal visits

  • phone and email support

  • on call 24/7 from 38 weeks to two weeks postpartum

  • continuous labor support

  • one to two postpartum visits

Please find my latest availability on my DoulaMatch profile. I offer a sliding scale, as I believe all people are entitled to nonjudgmental doula support, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, financial circumstances, or ability. Please feel free to contact me for more information.

abortion & miscarriage support

I support all pregnancy outcomes & choices.

I serve on the core leadership team for the Colorado Doula Project, and we offer doula support for those who choose abortion or those who experience a loss of a pregnancy. I provide information & education, advocacy & emotional support, as well as physical relaxation techniques.

I am able to be with you in a clinic setting or in your home. Please contact me or the CDP for more information.

postpartum doula servies

The birth year traditionally encompasses the first forty days after birth, and I support new families at any point after your delivery. I offer care and nourishment for new mothers and babies, as well as the home and family, to ease you through the transition from birth & delivery to parenthood.

My services include:

  • emotional and physical postpartum support

  • infant massage & care

  • birth recovery

  • light housework including laundry and meal preparation

  • herbal & nutritional support

  • sibling care

  • resources & referrals

  • self-care skills

As with all my doula work, I offer a sliding scale as I believe all people are entitled to nonjudgmental doula support, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, financial circumstances, or ability. Please feel free to contact me for more information and my availability.
